Refund Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Your Right to Withdraw (청약철회)
Under Korean e-commerce consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase and receive a full refund within 7 days of payment, for any reason, as long as you have not substantially used the Service (e.g., submitted writing or speaking and received leader feedback). This is a statutory right, separate from the additional refund options below. If we fail to properly disclose this right before you pay, that window extends to up to 3 months from payment (or 30 days from when you become aware of the issue, if later).
Ending Your Enrollment
The Monthly Challenge is not a subscription, so there is nothing to "cancel." Each month is a separate application and payment; if you don't re-apply, you're simply not enrolled in the next month's cohort. Paying for a month gives you access through the end of that month.
Refunds
- Within 7 days of your payment: contact us at engkorproject@gmail.com and we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked. This is your statutory right of withdrawal described above.
- After 7 days, if you haven't submitted any writing/speaking and haven't received any feedback yet: we'll still issue a full refund as a courtesy. This covers cases where you signed up but genuinely never got to try the Service.
- Otherwise: refunds are considered case by case, for example if there was a billing error or a technical issue on our side.
Outside of the cases above, we don't offer partial refunds for unused days within a month you've already started.
How Refunds Are Processed
All payments are processed by PayPal, which is a payment service provider, not our merchant of record. EngKor is responsible for approving and issuing refunds. Approved refunds are issued back to your original PayPal payment method and can take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
